Afraid of Nothing

Fresh Start
This day is a new beginning for me, and I embrace it with enthusiasm!

No matter what has happened in the past–no matter what crisis or disappointment occurred one moment ago or a day, a year or a decade ago–I can make a fresh start today.

I begin by letting all thoughts and beliefs that do not contribute to the well-being of myself or my loved ones fall away. With a fresh start, I embrace all that enriches me in mind, body and spirit. Aware of my Creator, and aware of myself as a creation of God, I see myself and all others in the light of divine love. This love blesses my relationships and activities. With Spirit guiding and inspiring me, I am on my way to a new life that is waiting for me.

So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!–2 Corinthians 5:17  The Daily Word

A man can get discouraged many times but he is not a failure until he begins to blame somebody else and stops trying.
John Burroughs

Whenever you’re in conflict with someone, there is one factor that can make the difference between damaging your relationship and deepening it. That factor is attitude. William James quotes

“You may be deceived if you trust too much, but you will live in torment if you do not trust enough.”  Frank Crane

Happiness is not a brilliant climax to years of grim struggle and anxiety. It is a long succession of little decisions simply to be happy in the moment.
J. Donald Walters

Though my soul may set in darkness,

it will rise in perfect light.
I have loved the stars too fondly

to be fearful of the night.
